After the postponement of the 2021 IDW, we are thrilled that the 2022 IDW is now just over three months away. Hosted in Seoul, Republic of Korea, this year’s IDW is centered around the sharing and integration of international data with Korean data methods, which has been coined as “K-Data.” The goal of IDW is to bring together data scientists, researchers, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers and data stewards from disciplines across the globe to explore how best to exploit the data revolution to improve science and society through data-driven discovery and innovation. The 9 day conference is opportunity to experience the data, integration, and facilitation strategies that are propelling the world into the next industrial revolution.

Noteworthy sessions at this year’s IDW include the following: State of Open Science Globally, SciDataCon Parallel Sessions, and RDA Plenary 19 Sessions.

IDW 2022 will be a hybrid event, with both virtual and in-person options.
